Debark Ministries was formed in early 2009 when Doug and Brenda were called by God to minister in churches, campgrounds, nursing homes and anywhere else God calls them. Although both were involved with different types of ministry, God brought them together to form what is now called Debark Ministries. (Douglas Eugene Brenda Anne Renea Koch). Over the past several years DeBark Ministries has expanded by adding a recording studio, cd duplication, dj services, and several pastors.
Doug - After ministering with March Forth for over ten years, God has led Doug in a different direction. He is now traveling as DeBark Ministries throughout the east coast. While the message has remained the same in this pursuit, he has broadened the scope of music to include southern gospel, praise/worship and progressive gospel. While traveling on a part-time basis with Antietam Gospel Trio out of Maryland, he continues to embark on this solo adventure. He works with FM Sound Productions as both pastor and dj. He is involved with the Porter Tower Lions Club, a member of the Tower City Revitalization and continues to work fulltime at United Concordia Dental.
Brenda - Using her Marketing degrees and advertising skills, she handles the scheduling, calls, mailings, social media and everything else including the inspiration for Doug to once again travel singing about God's Love! Brenda is involved with the Lykens Valley Women's Christian Connection as Vice-chair, attends Reigles Fellowship Bible church, board member of the Tower City and Northern Dauphin Revitalization and President of the Porter Tower Lions Club.She works as a freelance grant writer specializing in non-profit organizations. She has become the newest pastor of DeBark Ministries.
Mike - is the newest member of DeBark Ministries and joining as a pastor as of 2019. He is the owner of FM Sound Productions specializing in Wedding Ceremony and DJ services. Mike is a Township Supervisor for Rush Township in Tower City, PA. Mike is musically inclined by playing several instruments and enjoys collecting guitars, chickens, goats, and dogs.
Brenda and Doug were married on Saturday June 19, 2010!
